Lou Pepe Kriek 2012- by Brasserie Cantillion
Pours a a dull crimson with a very fine blush head. The aroma instantly reminiscent of the best of sour beers, with notes of cherry and oak. First sip is more tart than sour, the juiciness of the cherry shines through, followed by a mellow sourness, leaving a bit of oak on the tongue. This is far and away the best cherry lambic, kriek, I have ever had.
